With their principle of low-impact tourism, one can experience the untouched beauty of the land and the strong cultural identity of its people. The first word that comes to mind when I think of Botswana is 'abundant'. Something you wouldn't traditionally associate with a place in the middle of the Kalahari desert, but traversing the channels of the Okavango Delta or visiting the 'hippo pool' in Makgadikgadi, teeming with flora and fauna, you cannot help but feel the abundance of life in one of the most biodiverse places on the planet.
